How the shared fishing day works
Chalong Pier • 09:00–17:00 • up to 12 guests
We meet at Chalong Pier after the included transfer from Kata, Karon or Patong. The shared boat heads out for trolling and bottom fishing with equipment provided on board.

The day includes lunch in an island bay. Depending on sea and weather conditions, there may be time to swim or snorkel near Racha Yai. The captain may adjust the route for safety.

This is a group trip, not a private charter. Fishing results and wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Send us your date, number of guests and pickup area on WhatsApp; we will confirm seats and the total price before payment.

On the pier in the morning, you don’t know a single name on board. By lunch you’re arguing about who got the first bite.
  • Someone’s rod bends and the whole deck runs to the rail. Cheering for a stranger’s fish is weirdly addictive.
  • Never fished? Fine. Rods and bait are on board, and the crew will show you how to hold the rod and when to strike. There’s gear for trolling, bottom fishing.
  • A proper lunch, fruit and cold soft drinks are included, plus a mask and fins if you want a swim. If a tuna comes up, the crew can turn it into sashimi on the spot.
  • No icebreakers needed. Everyone on board has the same topic, and it lives under the boat.
Travelling solo or as a couple? Then the maths is easy. Chartering a whole boat for two costs a lot, and a day by the pool gets old fast. Here you get the same gear and crew, plus people to share the day with. Someone to have a beer with afterwards, too.
Honest bit: we don’t promise fish. Anyone who does is guessing. We promise a trip out to sea with a rod in your hands. The fish decide the rest.

    No. You join other guests on a shared boat with a maximum of 12 passengers. If you want the boat only for your party, ask us about a private charter.

    How do I book, and what is the high-season price?
    Sabai Tour
    High season: 2,600 THB per person. Send your date, guest count and hotel area on WhatsApp; we confirm available seats and the final total. Group seats require 100% prepayment. No-shows on the tour day are non-refundable. A date change can be requested at least 72 hours before the tour, subject to availability. The prepayment is fully refunded only if the Marine Department officially prohibits boats from leaving port due to a storm or unsafe sea conditions.
